Where is baby Jesus

Our kids love our 'Little People' nativity set. I noticed early on in the Advent season that our baby Jesus was missing from the manager. I asked my sweet preschoolers where he had gone. Tootsie simply replied he hasn't been born yet. She was right, it wasn't Christmas day just yet. Sure enough, baby Jesus arrived right on schedule. He was laying in the manager right on the second floor of Tootsie's new doll house. It was so sweet. She had all of her little dolls viewing our savior. We had a wonderful Christmas at Uncle Corey and Aunt Michelle's house. As always, time went by way too fast, but we were so happy to have them nearby to spend the holiday.

We made it. Today was the four week mark and we were off to take the pink cast off! Annalise was a bit apprehensive about the whole situation. She has become quite attached to the cast and couldn't bare the thought of it being taken off. Brett was super excited about seeing this saw we have been talking about and of course the trip to McDonald's afterwards. It went about as well as we predicted she screamed so loud they had to close the door. I had to basically lay on top of her. She was all smiles at the end of the visit when they presented her with a splint with half of her old cast.

Well here we go, my first attmpt at capturing the day to day operations of our household. Andrew this is for you... MERRY CHRISTMAS. You are a wonderful husband and the kids are so lucky to have such a special dad. We wish you could spend your days with us so hopefully this will keep you close to our daily routine and will make your long hours at the hospital not so long!
